Open and Free Internet

President Obama said Friday that he is committed to internet neutrality and that the internet should be “open and free”.  He also said that additional infrastructure will continue to be built, “laying broadband lines to every corner of America.”

A new cybersecurity office will be created that will be a member of the national security staff.   The President said that personal privacy and civil liberties will be preserved.
