Global Broadband Prices Drop

Point Topic, a British research firm, reports that residential broadband prices are down 20 percent globally.  DSL prices have experienced the biggest drop.

The US experienced smaller price decreases, possibly due to the fact that US broadband prices are already lower than the global averages.  While European broadband providers have raised speeds and lowered prices. US operators have raised speeds, but kept prices the same.
