Free Wireless Internet Bill

Rep. Anna G. Eshoo (D-CA) has introduced a bill, known as the Wireless Internet Nationwide for Families Act, that could provide free broadband coverage to at least 95% of the U.S.
<p>
Under the bill, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) would auction off the 2155-2175MHz spectrum band.  The winner of the auction would use the spectrum to create free, family friendly, nationwide wireless internet service.
