Free National Internet Network 2.0

The FCC has developed a second version of their plan to provide free, nationwide internet access.  A vote is planned by the end of the year.

The original planned required the auction winner to allocate at least 25% of the spectrum to free internet.

The newer plan gives unlicensed access to competitors if the auction winner fails to develop the free network.
