FCC Poised to Approve White Space Broadband

October 30, 2008 ·

White space refers to the vacant part of the spectrum that will become available after the broadband analog spectrum is converted to digital. The use of white space might interfere with other broadcasting signals and networks, but the FCC found no major interference problems.
